vacation

 we ran into the senior citizens coming off their bus at a plant nursery

Genevieve and I are in Seattle for a couple of weeks while Smitty is out of the country. Yes, thats right, I said out of the country. We had a pretty nice plane ride out and with the exception of my daughter not wanting to change from EST to PST everything is going well. Two days after we got here we were hit by a couple of inches of snow, which quickly melted and it has been gorgeous ever since

We had a photo shoot so we could get some valentines in the mail for the Grandparents. Look how stinking cute she is!

Snow Angel

@ the request of Grandpa Scott and Grannie Franie, Genevieve made her first snow angel. She was nto to excited to be laid on the cold ground but after she stuck her hand into the snow and got a taste she was fine.

new years 2013

My mom sent us a list of fun activities to do every hour leading up to midnight.
6pm- We were suppose to get balloons to pop every hour but we are working on getting Vie to bed on time so we had a great meal instead. Lobster, Crab legs and salad. Ambush was a little Jealous ( I snuck her some when Smitty was out of the room)
7pm- I wanted to try making a double chocolate banana pie. It did not turn out. so we had chocolate pudding with bananas and whipped cream. We did not even attempt to put together a 300 piece puzzle because we were still trying to get Vie down
8pm-WE made wrapping paper hats
9-pm pie crust cookie in shape 2013
10- we forgot the soap so make a soap volcano in the microwave so we made a 2013 out of skittles.
11pm- we failed miserably at flashlight bingo so we made nachos
midnight- we were suppose to eat 12 grapes in 12 seconds. Fat chance but we still accepted the challenge.

christmas

We headed back from Seattle on December 23rd. We found out that we could have stayed and celebrated christmas with my parents but we didnt want to pay to switch our tickets so we went back to Scranton to and Christmas with Smitty. And good thing we did because the day after we got back to got our first real snow storm of 6 inches! Christmas was very low key, we had opened most of our presents before so we just took some pictures of Genevieve opening her gift from Santa.

Michael's Wedding

Quick trip to Utah For my little brother-in-law's wedding. They were a gorgeous couple and we are so excited for them. We also snuck in a quick photo shoot for new Meads family photos.
