Labor Day

We both had a three day weekend!! It was fabulous. We check the Yankees off our list of teams to see. Smitty was so excited to be at Yankee Stadium. I was not that impressed but he was happy so thats all the matters. (Chicago and Seattle still have the best food, Chicago the best stadium)
On Monday we cleaned the house and started to get ready for baby and then hit the Italian Festival in downtown Scranton. Its not really a festival, its just a bunch of food booths. But we were a little more daring this year in our selections. Last year I think we ended up with sausage & peppers, Pizza(pepperoni) and cinnamon almonds. This year we ended up with pizza (tomatoes & broccoli) cinnamon almonds, eclairs, almond horseshoes(?) and pig wings. We ran into our friends Chris and Jillian and they recommended pig wings. Defiantly our favorite part of the festival.

I have not been great about taking belly photos, and because of the morning sickness/ weight loss we didn't really get any good belly shots until the last trimester. But here she is!! I am 38 weeks today. I had a check in yesterday and there is nothing to report. No contractions, no dilation, nothing. which calmed Smitty down since he has to go to Columbus, OH next week for a residency interview. Just one more thing to add into our crazy life

Hannah's Wedding

My little sister got married this weekend!! Smitty wasn't able to come because he is auditioning for a rotation in Erie. I am so excited for Hannah & Dick. We are so happy to have Dick in the family. It was a fabulous event. My mom planned the whole thing and with all the gracious help from people in the ward, it was a huge success. Thanks to my aunt, here is a sneak peak of her big day and in 6 weeks my mom gets to do it all over again for my brother!! Which also means that we have 9 weeks until baby is here

Happy Anniversary

This is a little out of order, but last week Smitty and I hit the 6 year mark!!! We have had a great, busy couple of years. I would not change it for all the tea in China! ha ha
I love you Smitty!!!

Baby Shower

I am in town for my sister's wedding so why not have a last minute baby shower? OUr long time family friends thru together a great shower for me. We got a lot of ute stuff for baby!

Ricketts Glen

Finally something pretty about Scranton!  We hiked this 3.5 mile trail that had 20 waterfalls! It was gorgeous!

We are trying to see all the sights of the east before baby comes(advice from Ryan) so in April we went to a mets games and got sunburns on half of our bodies, went to philly and found out we are having a girl! We have four more baseball games to try and get to before the end of the season. If only we could be in the same state this summer. we'll keep you posted on our progress
