This post should have been before the shoes but oh well. March has been a busy month. Smitty had to take his PE exam in Philly so we scheduled it two days before we left for Utah for his OB/GYN rotation. OUr friend Janae was very nice to drive us down so late at night. We have learned from living in PA that St Patricks day is a huge deal! Its a week long celebration. The town we were staying in had their own parade so we decided to check it out.  I love the photos of the kilts. Everyone was drink and the cigarette smoke was so thick but everyone was so friendly; a frisbee almost nailed me in the head but Smitty used his cat like reflexes so catch it. People were patting him on the back and cheering for him.

February 2012.... why I was sick

It took almost three years but now I know why I was feeling under the weather. We were 8 weeks along when we found out that baby Meads will be here September 19, 2012

Jan 21012

I am very behind with the blog, so here come an overload of posts. January we celebrated my birthday! I turned 29. Our neighbors Mike and Cassidy have everyone over and one of the Ashleys made me a chocolate cheesecake. We had a little bit of a rough start in 2012. Smitty and I had a nasty virus that was going around. We thought we shook it but Smitty was still felling a little under the weather at my party.

I am about two months behind but I also dont have a lot of interesting activities to catch everyone up on. Smitty is starting his 3rd month of Internal medicine and I am working quite a bit more because someone on night shift is out for 10 weeks for surgery. Scranton is cold and quite. We did spend a good amount of January making new friends. We are playing board games and cards because there is not a whole lot to do here. Mike and Cassidy introduced us to a new restaurant in the area which is pretty good. It's called Thai Rok Thai for anyone that lives in Scranton. I am not a huge fan of Thai food but I thought it was great.

My grandparents spent three weeks surrounding Christmas in Culpepper, VA with Aunt Lisa. I was finally able to take a couple of days towards the end of their visit and go see them. I really like spending time with my grandparents. We watch Andy Griffith and put together puzzles. The picture is of my grandfather building a marble ramp for his great grandkids in VA. He loves fun projects like this

I had to work on Christmas this year, however we were invited to our friend's house for a potluck on Christmas eve. The food was so good! We had a ton of fun decorating t-shirts (this a family tradition of Cassidy's)
