Smitty had his physical for his army application down in Carlisle, PA so we decided to go with him and  have a small daytrip. The weather wasn't so great so we went to Hershey, PA to see chocolate world. She loved the straw in the milkshake and thats about it. She slept a lot of the trip.

Ain't no party like a Scranton party

 The office ended this season and they had a big parade here in Scranton. We went downtown to check it out with our neighbors and Office lovers, the Lundbergs.

Cousins

After Gettysburg and a 6 hour round trip in one day, why not drive down to D.C. a couple of days later? right?! Genevieve got to spend time with her cousins. SHe had a blast. The weather was great so I dragged everyone to the zoo.

Road trip with kids

So Smitty and Mike talked about going to Gettysburg for the day and renting a van so we could all travel together. I thought, why not? let's get the road trip jitters over with. Smitty again fell in love with mini vans and this time I have to agree it was very convient. It was very humid! It makes it look like it's raining in all the photos but no, that is the humidity in the air. The museum and visitors center was great. We then bought a CD for the tour of the battlegrounds and drove the rest. Cassidy and I definitely had a different trip than Mike and Smitty but it was still fun. We ended out trip with dinner at Luke's Diner. It was so good! Thank yelp. 

ps if I could go to Gettysburg again I would rent a guide for the car ride, not a CD and I would spend a couple of days there. There is so much to explore
