We have been in Erie for one month now. I love the weather, Smitty has not seen the outside of a classroom of Library. The ward is awesome!! I wouldn't be sane with out them, I have already made a couple of friends and they do not work in a hospital and we do not talk about codes or trauma (that's a stretch for me) We have been back to Utah which was unexpected, unfortunately Smitty's Nana passed away. I do not have a job yet, hopefully my license appears soon but I have been going to the gym everyday and loving it.

I did go buy another camera cord so I can show off our place (as soon as I got home I found my original camera cord)

The lake is great I have been there a couple of times and I want to go back before the summer is over. You feel like you are at the ocean but Smitty tried it, and it is fresh water.

IT'S FUN USING SOME ELSE'S INTERNET

We are having some problems getting our internet hooked up- so thanks the the neighbor with the unsecured network! These are finally the pictures from our drive out here. I managed to take a photo of all the state signs except Wyoming because I couldn't find my camera. I'll post photos of our place soon

JUST A HEADS UP

I have been taking pictures alone the way so everyone can experience the great, FLAT United States with us. I have been trying to find the camera cord to plug into the computer and we think it might still be back at the Meads, so we would like to let you all know we are doing well and we are about half way there.

I THINK PLAN D?!

So we originally told everyone we would be leave last Thursday but with still not knowing where we were going to live and Smitty's cousins homecoming scheduled for today we changed plans and are now leaving tomorrow. We were going to try and make the drive in four days but found out we can;t move in until the 20th so we need to kill some time- SO new plan is to know drive to CHEYENNE, WY then to DES MOINES, IA then NAUVOO, IL then onto CLEVELAND, OH for an Indians game and lastly to PITTSBURG, PA for a Pirates game. We are hoping to see alot of the grand United States along the way but I am hoping this is one of the very few times I have to drive it

A year or two ago we started FHE with the Nelson's and the Jeppson's and later Jill and Kerry. We are all preparing to move on with the next chapters of our lives. Thank you to all of you for the friendship, laughs, games of clue and trains and lots of mini golf. We will miss you all
